With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Catherine Shearin of Brooklyn, NY. Catherine passed away on Friday April 5th, 2024 at the age of 86 years old. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Catherine McGinley; her siblings, Timothy, Charles, John, Edward, Philomena and Winnie; her son-in-law, Charles Clark; and her loving husband, Dennis Shearin. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Louie Velazquez, at the age of 75. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Coney Island hospital on May 12, 2023. Louie was born on August 3, 1948 in Puerto Rico. His parents Pedro and Rosa Velazquez moved the family to Brooklyn New York when he was a young child. Jon Alan Wicklund passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022, his 83rd birthday in his adopted hometown of Brooklyn New York. He was a beloved brother, uncle and friend and is survived by his sister Ruth Beam, brother Bob (Lynne) and a host of nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces and cousins.
